ABOUT US — SCHIO, VICENZA, ITALY — SINCE 1983

forty yearsof doing thingsright.

Studio Tamoni was founded in Schio, Vicenza, Italy, in 1983. For over forty years, we have evolved with visual communication: from manual layouts to desktop publishing, and from the early web to generative AI.

PRECISION

Every pixel, typographic point and colour code is checked. Our attention to detail is not an indulgence: it is what turns professional work into outstanding design.

CONFIDENTIALITY

We handle sensitive data, proprietary formulations and confidential launch strategies. Discretion is the foundation of every client relationship.

INNOVATION

We do not follow trends: we anticipate needs. AI is already part of our creative process, helping us deliver better results, faster.

OUR PROCESS

from prepress
to print.

Our work does not end with design approval. We oversee every stage of production, from preparing final artwork to on-press checks. Packaging that looks perfect on screen must be just as good in print.

01

BRIEF & ANALYSIS

Everything starts with listening. We study the product, market and sector regulations. For pharmaceuticals: patient information leaflets, national authorisation codes, mandatory pictograms and multilingual text. For food: nutrition tables, authorised claims, traceability and certification marks.

02

GRAPHIC DESIGN

We create layouts with meticulous typographic precision. Every typeface, size and line spacing is calibrated for readability and compliance. Mandatory information areas are defined before any aesthetic decisions: regulations are our starting point, not an obstacle.

03

PROFESSIONAL PREPRESS

We prepare production files with ICC colour profiles, bleed, registration marks, overprint, trapping, Pantone colour management and CMYK separation. Colour accuracy is checked with certified proofs, including Cromalin or digital contract proofs.

04

PRESS SET-UP & PRINTING

We attend press set-up when required. We check colour reproduction, registration and print quality on every substrate, from coated paper and laminated aluminium to solid board and pharmaceutical blister film.

05

QUALITY CONTROL

Every delivery is checked for text accuracy, readable barcodes (EAN, DataMatrix and Pharmacode) and consistency with approved samples. There is no room for error: in pharmaceuticals, a printing error can lead to a product recall.

SECTORS & REGULATIONS

where detail
is essential.

Pharmaceuticals and food are among the world’s most regulated sectors. Attractive design is not enough: it must be compliant. Every text, symbol and minimum size is governed by European and national regulations we know in depth.
